Senior Buyer/Planner Description

• Responsible for the coordination of all activities related to the procurement of raw materials, components, commodities, services direct and indirect beginning with intent to purchase through delivery.
• Solicits and evaluates proposals for raw materials and supplies.
• Implements purchase contracts in accordance with company and government regulations.
• Continually improve purchasing methods/processes and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Senior Buyer/Planner Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Five to ten years purchasing experience preferably in the medical device/ISO 13485 regulatory field but WILL TRAIN an otherwise qualified candidate.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, ERP programs and database, internet, manufacturing and ordering software.
• Must posses the ability to work independently, have strong time management, communication and interpersonal skills
