What does a successful Sr. Advisor do at Fiserv?

A leader in the Conversion organization, who works directly with clients, manages conversion, start-up, and transfer projects. Conversion projects involve migrating an existing portfolio from another processor (TSYS, In-house, etc.) to the Fiserv processing system. Conversions can be for a client brand new to Fiserv or for an existing client that is adding to their portfolio. Startups involve starting from ground zero and building out the required infrastructure on the Fiserv system to support a new client launching a new portfolio.

The Implementation Senior Advisor manages the project from beginning to end, playing a primary role in leading and participating in Discovery, Data Spec Review, Software Development, System Configuration, Testing, Project Management & Implementation.

What you would do:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the project from beginning to end, develop project plans, consult with client on solutions, manage key deliverables, and report on issues, risks, and status.
  • Lead internal projects teams of up to 8 owner-associates, set up and customize the various products and functions of the processing system.
  • Ensure custom development is delivered as required for the client.
  • Drive resolution of issues through problem solving, identification of necessary resources, and escalation.

What you will need to have:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

At least ten years of experience in a client-facing role in finance or banking.

Proven experience in project management, implementations or conversions.

Ability to effectively conduct meetings and deliver presentations.

Strong understanding of the Credit Card Issuing Industry and associated products.

Excellent time management skills

Ability to effectively manage client expectations and deliver client-ready communications.

What would be great to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant credit card processing experience.
  • Experience with and knowledge of Fiserv platforms (Optis) and products/services.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
