This is a remote position that could be based anywhere in the United States.

Calix is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to join the Accounts Payable team. This position will play a lead role in processing inventory invoices and reconciling vendor statements.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for all accounting work necessary to insure accounts payable are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
Process 3 way / 2 way P.O. matching invoices and resolve receipt discrepancies.
Respond to internal customers and vendor inquiries.
Ensure invoices are coded to the correct general ledger account.
Prepare and process weekly payments, including ACH, credit card, and wire disbursements.
Sort and distribute incoming mail.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
Assist with other projects as needed.
Assist and support system upgrades, troubleshooting, testing and documentations of processes.
Review current accounts payable processes and procedures and provide suggestions of opportunity for improvement and automation.
Ensure compliance with internal control and SOX narratives and controls.
Participate in formal skills training and cross-training.
Participate in yearly audit projects.

Qualifications:
Calix requires all employees based in North America who will work onsite at a Calix office, attend in-person meetings, and/or travel on behalf of Calix to be fully vaccinated. Calix will consider requests for reasonable accommodations as required under applicable law.
AA, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Accounts Payable experience.
Oracle Cloud experience a plus.
Proficient in Excel and Word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer-centric focus with internal/external partners.
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of an Accounting Team.
Strong work ethic, professional attitude, reliable.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with high levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
