We are hiring a Senior Accountant to our team here at Revolution Entertainment Services! This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact within a growing accounting team and Software company.

Position Overview:

Revolution Entertainment Services, located in Burbank, CA, is an entertainment payroll provider with revolutionary software solutions who also provide production accounting services for the entertainment industry. We are in search for a Senior Accountant who will play an integral role in our growing Accounting department. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting with month end close, preparing account reconciliations, reviewing Treasury and Accounts Payable.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Record daily bank transactions in QuickBooks Online for multiple bank accounts
• Support in month end close, including preparing month end journal entries
• Prepare and research transactions to accurately reconcile multiple balance sheet accounts
• Accurately prepare, and timely file, all payroll taxes and tax payments for multiple jurisdictions
• Prepare other tax and information reporting including property taxes, 1099s, and sales and use tax filings
• Accurately and timely, prepare and deliver, health insurance invoices
• Apply payments for health insurance and ACA invoices
• Reconcile client health insurance invoicing to health insurance carrier statement
• Reconcile health insurance enrollment system to health insurance carrier billing system
• Support the treasury bank file process
• Assist with preparing ad hoc schedules as requested
• Create desktop procedures for assigned responsibilities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong Excel Skills (IF statements, Vlookup, Pivot tables, etc)
