Job description
Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Community Habilitation services in the Camillus area to a gentleman with a developmental disability. He and his family are looking for a dedicated DSP to provide support and assist him with working on his goals, both at home and in community settings.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting him to pursue his hobbies and interests by accompanying and supporting him during community outings; helping him to gain independent living skills; and providing transportation, as needed.
We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient and enthusiastic. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities a plus. Reliable vehicle and a driver's license are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
Schedule: Tuesday afternoons (approx 3-6 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
