Qualis Home Health Services, LLC is seeking reliable Caregivers for Bohannon, Virginia, and surrounding areas to provide Personal Care & Companionship Services. The shifts are: Tue, Thu, Fri 4pm-10pm. Mon, Wed 10am-2pm and Every other Sat 6-8 hours. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Meal preparation
• Maintain fall preventative measures
• Participate and engage clients with various social activities/hobbies
• Perform light housekeeping (including laundry and emptying trash)
• Perform and record Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) such as bathing, toileting and dressing...
• Assist client with transferring
• Observe client and note physical condition, attitude, reactions, appetite, etc. and report any changes to the nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Minimum qualifications are:

• Must understand English both written and spoken.
• Must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.
• Knowledge of and a special sensitivity to the needs of the targeted population of focus
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Professional demeanor and appearance

BLS & First Aid Certification & TB Testing REQUIRED

Up-to-date TB/PPD REQUIRED

State background check REQUIRED

HHA or CNA PREFERRED

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
