Security Officer:

The Security Officer will participate in maintaining a safe and secure environment.

• Answer main phone lines and direct calls to appropriate departments
• Monitor radio traffic and surveillance equipment
• Implement applicable emergency policies and programs
• Monitor and regulate inbound and outbound pedestrian and truck traffic
• Conduct regular inspection rounds in accordance with company policies
• Handle outbound express mail and distribute internal mail as needed
• Open and close confined space entry permits
• Maintain accurate departmental written records and reports
• Any other duties as assigned

Skill Requirements:

Team members must possess good communication and computer skills in order to: process pick ups and deliveries within the facility, monitor/control access in and out of the facility with a variety of systems, conduct rounds, answer phones, assist with emergencies, communicate with a variety of departments and personnel on a daily basis, and complete various documentation/reporting necessary on a daily basis.

Schedule:

• Part-time opening for weekends on either 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM) or 3rd shift (11 PM - 7 AM).

• Full-time openings on 3rd shift (11 PM - 7 AM).

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; as well as 1 year of security-related experience and/or training

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and background screening.
