Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as an Overnight Security Guard. This position will require the individual to work late-night hours to ensure the safety and security of our residents, guests, and property.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain the security of the premises
• Patrol the property regularly to ensure safety and address any suspicious activity
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times
• Any other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous security experience preferred, but not necessary
• Must possess a valid State of Hawaii Guard Card
• Must be able to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with surveillance systems
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
