Job description
Our team is looking for Asset Protection Agents who will be responsible for our premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance, and permitting entry. We are looking for someone who is alert, diligent, and process-oriented, and most importantly, someone who has the safety of our employees on the top of their minds at all times! Keeping our building and people safe is vital to our operations and we need someone who is equally as passionate about safety and security as we are. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

The schedule for this role is 2nd Shift - 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM
Job Responsibilities:
  • Check employee badges.
  • Perform post duties assigned to the post you are managing.
  • Initiate and perform companywide evacuation and sheltering drills as per assigned post duties.
  • Wand those leaving secured areas.
  • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property.
  • Monitor surveillance equipment.
  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points.
  • Conduct temporary/seasonal employee checks during COVID-19 as well as all health and safety measures of the building.
  • Obtain help by sounding alarms.
  • Inform violators of policy and procedures.
  • Monitor public areas for potential issues.
  • Identify potential thieves or vandals.
  • Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities.
  • Review inventory, stock and security cameras, and footage to investigate suspected issues.
  • Document theft and other security violations.
  • All other duties as assigned by the manager.

Additional Requirements:
  • Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and the like.
  • Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one workplace to another.
  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 40 pounds in all directions.
  • Cannot have been discharged from the military dishonorably or under any other conditions that would be viewed as prohibitive.
  • Cannot be indicted or charged with felonies or Class A or B misdemeanors.
  • Cannot be registered as a sex offender in any state.
  • Cannot be mentally incompetent in the view of a court.
