Full Job Description

The second shift scan checker is responsible for verifying quantities pulled by order pullers. They will work to ensure quantities pulled are accurate with their RF scanner while also processing and loading orders on to the UPS/FED EX ground trailers. They will also be responsible for scan checking LTL shipments when needed. They will also need to be cross trained on order pulling equipment such as the electric pallet jack.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

Scan Checking/Loading: Verify order quantities with RF scanner to ensure all deliveries are accurate before processing through the freight system. Load trailers after processing deliveries through the system.

Equipment: Operate pallet jack when needed.

Inventory: Ensure excess Inventory is staged to be put back into inventory at the end of shift.

Safety, Sanitation, Security: Maintain a clean, neat and orderly warehouse. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with Company safety training methods and OSHA / MSDS Standards.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Scan Checker Criteria: All ground deliveries must be processed and loaded by shifts end. Any errors must be given to the supervisor to adjust inventory and/or report them to the shipping manager the next day.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
