Job Description:
This position is needed to support overall ramp/harbor operations by greeting the public, providing information, assisting with the movement of vessel traffic including catching dock lines and helping individuals tie up to the floating/fixed docks, collecting fees, monitoring car and trailer parking, and maintaining security; all other related work as required.
Must be able to work on weekends and holidays.
Minimum Qualifications:
Some familiarity with boats and trailering.
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to communicate with the public in a calm, tactful and effective manner.
Ability to follow procedures and enforce regulations.
General knowledge of operations and procedures of site.
Ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to remain calm in emergency situations, communicating quickly and effectively to assist in providing emergency response.
Ability to work independently
Ability to deal with less than satisfied customers.
