Job description
JOBProvides professional, effective, and efficient clerical services to the general public through daily collection and processing of cash payments for the City. This role is a part time seasonal Cashier, and begins 12/19/2022.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Processes and collects payments of taxes, utility bills, permits, licenses, etc to the city.Maintains accurate cash records and balances of drawers with payment records. Performs all other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent organizational, coordination and tracking skills.Ability to work with customers and other employees under pressure and deadlines.Excellent communication skills.Ability to present a positive image of the department and the City to the public. Physical Requirements: Task involves sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to stand for sustained periods and to move objects including the human body. Fingering repetitive motions including extended periods at the keyboard. Environmental Requirements: None. This position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Sensory Requirements: The task requires close visual acuity to perform various activities.The task requires oral communications ability.The task requires sound perception and discrimination
