Position Summary:

Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health is recruiting for a R&D Scientist Skin Health FACE Acne Treatments will be in located Skillman, NJ!

With direct guidance, the R&D Scientist is responsible to lead and support end-to-end development activities of commercialized cosmetic, NDA, and topical OTC-drug products of Consumer Health under AVEENO®, CLEAN & CLEAR®, NEUTROGENA® among other brands. This individual will be responsible to provide technical leadership and drive North America formulation development initiatives focused on New Product Introductions, Value Creation, Product Stewardship, Business Continuity, and Compliance for skincare products, with focus on Acne Treatments. Successful candidates have a passion for innovation and knowledge of formulations and or manufacturing processes. Working under general supervision of the R&D Manager, this individual will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Quality Assurance, Claims, and other functions to provide product design and process support on projects with varying timelines and technical complexity.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor or Master of Science, Engineering, or other related technical degrees

Experience and Skills:

Required

• 3-5 years of experience with Bachelor of Science / Engineering or equivalent
• 0-2 years of experience with Master of Science / Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in formulating or manufacturing consumer / pharmaceutical products is required
• Demonstrated technical and leadership skills to deliver project objectives is required

Preferred

• Experience in the Skin Health, Beauty Industry, or related industry is highly preferred.
• Experience developing or manufacturing skincare products is highly preferred
• Experience with technical services or process engineering at manufacturing sites is preferred
• Experience working in a team environment is preferred

Other

• Domestic travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $66,00 to $92,500
