Substitute School Nurse (RN) - Full-time, Part-time, Per Diem

Are you passionate about working with children in a school environment? Horizon Healthcare Staffing has exciting opportunities for Registered Nurses (RN’s) to work as Substitute School Nurses in various schools. We have full-time, part-time, and per diem positions available with flexible hours and schedules.

We work with schools in the following areas:

• Dumont
• Teaneck
• Bergenfield
• Tenafly
• And many more!

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid care and medically prescribed services to students and staff.
• Serve as a resource person on health issues.
• Screen and conduct health appraisals for students and staff.
• Correspond with parents on the health needs of children.
• Maintain daily documentation of health-related activities.
• Record immunizations, health findings, and other relevant health data.

Qualifications:

• One year of professional experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Active CPR card and NJ Nursing License.
• Willingness to obtain a New Jersey Department of Education Fingerprint clearance (we reimburse!).
• Willingness to obtain a school nurse certificate (we reimburse!).
