SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Project Manager

Forrest Smith with WorkSource Oregon is helping the largest Solar Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Services Provider in North America find a SCADA Project Manager. The SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Project Manager will provide support focusing on SCADA deployments and O&M (Operations and Maintenance) facility onboarding.
WAGE:
- $90,000 to $150,000 annually, DOE
- Fully benefitted, Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, optional 401K with company match, FSA account, PTO, Life Insurance
HOURS:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Hybrid work schedule, two to three days a week in the office
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three years of project management work experience
- Two years of SCADA system design, setup, commissioning and support
- One year of professional financial management experience
PREFERENCES:
- PMP Certification (Project Management Certificate)
- Customer de-escalation and conflict resolution skills
- Resource planning and mitigation management work experience
- Experience working with schedule software including but not limited to Oracle P6 and/or Microsoft Project
- Proficient use of Microsoft office tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, Power BI
- Experience using task management tools including but not limited to; MS Teams, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira or others
JOB DUTIES:
- Participate in RFP (Request for Proposal) reviews with business development team by providing guidance on our approach.
- Support our business development and estimating groups with project proposals and pricing.
- Manage SCADA project budgets and provide monthly status reports to management team.
- Support procurement and contract execution activities with 3rd party vendors, including; scope of work coordination, scheduling, material procurement, and closeout.
- Manage SCADA project implementation and provide monthly status reports to management team.
- Interface directly with project stakeholders to collect project documentation; stakeholders may include, owner / operators, utility personnel, field personnel.
- Interface directly with our clients to provide system training, collect user feedback and punch-list items for system handoff.
- Interface directly with our clients for ongoing support triage and status updates.
- Participate in system design reviews, including capturing and managing meeting minutes, action items, requests for information, and change requests.
- Assist in the development and management of project schedules.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement and look for opportunities to improve processes and manage projects more efficiently.
- Maintain relationships with SOLV Energy business partners, clients and industry vendors.
- Stay up to date on industry pricing and fair market value of our SCADA platform.
- Complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain client satisfaction and retention
