Saw Operator

Corporation, located in Culpeper, Virginia, is one of the global leading manufacturers of lightweight composite products based on honeycomb core. The product range consists of various types of honeycomb, panels, formed, milled parts and drop-in parts for a wide range of industries and especially for the aeronautical industry.
Job Title: Saws Operator
Department: Production – Saws
Location: EURO-COMPOSITES® Corporation; Culpeper, VA
Employment Type: Regular Full-Time Position
JOB SUMMARY includes, but not limited to:
Summary/Objective:
The Saw Operator is responsible for, but not limited to, following Production orders related to the cutting of honeycomb blocks into sheets, the safe operation of a forklift, the thorough and correct completion of paperwork and scanning operations.
Essential Functions
- Selection of correct blocks
- Ability to input correct data for saw computers and scanners
- Good understanding of math and standard measurement
- Operation of horizontal band saws
- Operating a fork lift
- Understanding and compliance to all quality requirements
- Document control and completion
- Keeping the area clean, including emptying dust hogs and scrap material bins
- Visually inspecting parts
Required Education and Experience
- Lifting over 50lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good understanding of math
- Strong attention to accuracy and precision
- Knowledge of industry safety standards
- Previous fork truck certification and experience a plus
- Open availability, including weekends
- Must agree to pre-employment screenings
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday Shift Work Must be available to work any required Shift:
- 1st Shift – 6AM to 2PM
- 2nd Shift 2PM to 10PM
- 3rd Shift 10PM to 6AM (Sunday-Thursday)
Salary Information:
- Hourly, non-exempt
- Starting rate $20.00/hr commensurate with experience
