Badger Mining Corporation is growing, and adding a West Texas-based Wash Operator to our team!

The Wash Operator, based out of our Kermit, Texas facility, will head up the safe and efficient operation of the wash process to meet quality specifications, production, and customer needs. Associates will rotate between multiple different roles within the Wash plant including the control room, quality testing, heavy equipment operation, general maintenance, and housekeeping.

This Wash Team Associate will work 12-hour shifts from 6:00 to 6:00. Associates typical schedule includes working 10 days on, and 4 days off. This schedule is flexible, and will vary.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• High school diploma
• Previous wash plant experience preferred
• Mobile equipment experience preferred - dozer, loader, excavator, forklift, telehandler, etc.
• Basic math and reading skills
• Legible handwriting
• Computer skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good decision making and problem solve skills
• High level attention to detail
• Mechanically inclined

Job specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Feed and clean up around hoppers/conveyors utilizing appropriate mobile equipment
• Monitor wash controls to ensure the plant is running as efficiently as possible while maintaining quality, production and customer needs.
• Monitor and adjust CAT and flock levels as needed
• Perform lab testing requirements including but not limited to sieve and turbidity tests
• Troubleshoot and adjust process based on quality data/tests as needed
• Identify out of spec products and troubleshoot and adjust processes as needed to bring products back into spec
• Perform workplace examinations/inspections to identify and eliminate hazards in order to work safely
• Assist with housekeeping within the wash plant including shoveling andoperating a skid steer to remove sand
• Troubleshoot and assist with equipment failure or process flows
• Perform or assist with wash process maintenance duties as needed
• Work with Operations Team to ensure stockpile management.

This is not an all inclusive list. Associates may be asked to assist in other areas of the plant as needed.
