In 2021 we moved into a brand new ISO 17025 accredited laboratory in Madison, WI designed to conduct food chemistry testing specializing in infant formula, sole-source nutrition products, hemp and CBD, dietary supplements, and a variety of botanicals. Our testing portfolio includes vitamins, minerals, contaminants, pesticides and shelf-life studies.

We test of a variety of instrumentation including UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS technologies. This role is part of the Sample Management department and will be responsible for processing changes to client projects. This role works within a small team of 5 staff who process change requests submitted by Customer Service, Sample Management and Laboratory staff. The key responsibilities are to meet daily production support targets while processing routine Change requests, utilize knowledge of project entry procedures to accurately update projects, communicate with the team lead on issues, contribute to process improvement projects and work effectively as a team member.

This role will can be performed as a remote employee.

Standard Hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm (with OT as required).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applies advanced knowledge of Laboratory Information Management (NIMS) software to production activities.
• Ability to focus on accurate and on-time delivery of daily team goals
• Has expertise in sample registration tasks from triage through the transition into the lab
• Promotes quality to ensure client specific procedures are followed accurately
• Contributes to a cohesive team environment and acts as a department-wide resource
• Communicates sample information effectively to the SM team and customer service
• Provides appropriate background information and potential resolutions to issues
• May review work performed in sample management for accuracy relative to appropriate SOP
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate

Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):

• 3-5 years of commercial work experience
• Ability to use a variety of computer applications for data analysis
• Ability to identify and communicate department needs to supervision
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results on both short term and long term goals
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
