Primary Purpose Of Job

Serves as a key member of the Salesforce project team, providing technical expertise in the area of Salesforce development and implementation.


Major Job Accountabilities

  • Performs technical analysis, level-of-effort estimation, design, development, and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions.
  • Responsible for building customized Salesforce solutions using Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components and other technologies that support business requirements.
  • Provides support across systems and related integrations native to ASB’s Salesforce implementation.
  • Troubleshoots and fixes defects for production issues and planned releases.
  • Researches and finds opportunities to utilize Salesforce best practices, guidelines to improve system productivity, scaling and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.


Education Requirements

Four-year college degree majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.


Experience Required

  • Five (5) or more years of work experience in Salesforce development using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning component frameworks, triggers, batch apex and Salesforce APIs.
  • Five (5) or more years of work experience in Salesforce point and click configuration using workflows, validation rules, sales process setup, roles & profiles, reports and dashboards.
  • Five (5) or more years of work experience integrating Salesforce with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK and Streaming APIs.
  • Five (5) or more years of work experience in building complex, scalable, and high-performance software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.


Required Skills Or Training

  • Must have an analytical mindset and the ability to make quick decisions and take initiative.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication to both technical and non-technical audiences, and to executive/senior management teams.
  • Must be patient, with the ability to listen and understand customer problems, needs and issues while challenging requests which are not in the best interests of the platform.
  • Possesses knowledge of systems development lifecycle methodologies.
  • Prior experience in leading and facilitating meetings.
  • Demonstrates high proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications.
