Employees are required to complete one month of training on-site in Elberton, Georgia. All work after training can be remote.

Position Description: The Sales Support Representative serves as the primary point of contact for our customers. Representatives demonstrate product-area expertise providing consultation, suggestions, and options to customers based on product availability, price, and timing. This position interfaces with internal departments and both domestic and overseas suppliers to complete customer inquiries. The ideal Sales Support Representative takes ownership and initiative in resolving customer inquiries, delivering world-class customer experience.

Education and Experience: A High School Diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field may be advantageous. Minimum 2 years’ experience in account management, customer service, or another high volume environment. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Excellent team working, motivational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivers customer service by providing order status, inventory availability and product prices
• Be a product expert to suggest different options to customers
• Earn customer trust with knowledge, responsiveness, and clarity in communication
• Check availability of stock in inventory
• Calculate prices for custom designed granite monuments using Salem Stones’ price tool
• Presents pictures and drawings of products
• Support outside sales reps with all of the above.
• Additional duties and support as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
