Aldora Aluminum and Glass Products, Inc, an industry leader, provides glass and aluminum fabrication out of 6 manufacturing facilities located throughout the Southeast United States.

Outside Sales Professionals are needed on a full-time basis in Newport News, Virginia - Aldora's latest facility opening in January 2023.

Responsible for driving sales in their territories by maintaining relationships with existing customers, seeking and obtaining new customers, and bringing sales opportunities.

Reports To: VP of Operations and Branch Manager

Product Knowledge

• Gain a full insight into products Aldora offers
• Be able to present features of all products to new and existing customers, including Aldora’s competitive advantage
• Understand pricing parameters for primary products

Customer Calls

• Visit customers on a daily basis
• Create routes that maximize customer visits in each geographical area
• Reinforce Aldora product line each visit
• Ask for quoting opportunities & work with Branch Manager to secure orders
• Follow up immediately on any requests/quotes/orders/issues
• Report any competitive info to Management Staff.
• Complete call log on a daily basis

Prospecting

• Seek new prospects when calling on existing customers
• Determine their scope of business and offer appropriate products

Customer Assistance

• Be aware of quotes and orders that your customer has made
• Contact customers to follow up or thank them
• Be available and respond quickly to any concerns
• Visit job site if necessary to review issues
• Address outstanding account if necessary

Architect Calls

• Work in conjunction with the Architectural Sales Manager on making Architectural Calls and specifying Aldora products.

Special Requirements

• 2-3 years work experience
• Must be a self-starter, personable with high energy
• Excellent time management skills
• Goal orientated, competitive spirit
• Excellent communication skills
• Construction material knowledge preferred, not required
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
