SUMMARY: Responsible for sale of company services including maintaining existing accounts, generating leads, soliciting new businesses in target markets or geographical areas. Sells standard services and/or works to locate and develop applications for specialized or new services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

1) Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from a variety of sources.

2) Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or perform job surveys.

3) Discusses, displays, or demonstrates services by whatever means are required.

4) Works with engineering and operations staff to prepare estimates and formulates written cost proposals based on information from engineering. Works with operations and executive teams to prepare contracts for orders obtained.

5) Estimates date of delivery and or installation to customer, based on discussion with regional team regarding production and delivery schedules.

6) Works with operations team to finalize invoices and close out projects monthly.

7) Prepares reports of customer interactions, business transactions and maintains expense account.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Sales experience in the industrial contracting sector preferred. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
