Job Title: Blank Apparel Salesman

Summary: The Blank Apparel Salesman is responsible for selling blank apparel items to wholesale customers, such as clothing retailers, promotional product companies, and screen printing businesses. They represent a company that specializes in manufacturing and distributing blank apparel, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and other apparel items without any logos or designs. The Blank Apparel Salesman builds relationships with customers, provides product information and recommendations, and achieves sales targets to drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential wholesale customers, including clothing retailers, promotional product companies, and screen printing businesses, to generate sales leads.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication, follow-ups, and visits to customer sites.
  • Provide product information and recommendations to customers, including details on fabric, sizing, colors, and customization options.
  • Present and promote the company's line of blank apparel products to customers, highlighting their features, benefits, and competitive pricing.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Process and manage customer orders, including order entry, pricing, invoicing, and shipment tracking.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to effectively position the company's products in the market.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and sales meetings to network, generate leads, and promote the company's products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, production, and customer service, to ensure smooth order processing and customer support.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to sales management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business or related field is a plus.
  • Proven sales experience in the apparel industry, preferably selling to wholesale customers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Excellent product knowledge, including fabrics, sizing, and customization options.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets and quotas.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and order management software.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites and attend trade shows and industry events as needed.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Commission pay

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
  • apparel industry: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
