Local, family owned metal fabrication company is looking for a Salesperson/Estimator. This is a full time position with five 8 hour work days, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Job responsibilities include:

• Establish manufacturing work flow for individual part orders based on customer requirements. Assign price to each request based on time of each operation and communicate pricing to customer
• Maintain strong relationship with existing customers and seek new sales opportunities
• Report work status and sales plan to management weekly
• Ensure customer requirements, including deadlines are met
• Accuracy and efficiency are key components of this position

Qualifications:

• Strong blue print, computer and communication skills required
• Comprehensive understanding of metal manufacturing operations required
• 3-5 years experience in metal fabrication environment required
• Knowledge of quality assurance per ISO standards preferred
• General knowledge of shop equipment (laser, brake, shear, welding, etc.) preferred
• Self motivated with ability to maintain job standards and company deadlines with minimal direction
• Clear understanding of the importance of clear, accurate and effective communication with the leadership team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
