Our Jewelry Sales Professionals are fine jewelry and timepiece experts. They love working with people and seek to provide an experience beyond our clients’ expectations. Our professionals have the expertise and education to provide our clients with knowledge to make an informed decision that will keep them coming back for their next life celebration. Our sales team also understands the importance of timeliness and they have great sense of urgency in addition to confidentiality.

The primary responsibilities of this position are to attain personal sales goals, work with clients on all service needs, and work in tandem with our goldsmiths for custom designs. As part of our team, you will participate regularly in product and sales training to build upon your product and industry knowledge. Goldsmith Gallery Jewelers is respected in our community for our continued philanthropic efforts and our associates are encouraged to maintain active membership in a variety of fundraising efforts to further our meaningful service within the community. Additional job duties include merchandising, inventory control, entering sales data into the computer POS system and building and maintaining a client base.

This position is paid hourly plus commission with unlimited earning potential. Our sales associates earn between $45k-$85k on average.

Job Responsibilities:
Assist clients in selecting jewelry and timepieces
Provide product knowledge and offer suggestions to meet client’s needs
Receive repairs and process transactions
Assist in opening and closing the store, inventory management and merchandising
Develop and maintain a client base through follow-up and communication
Flexible schedule required including weekends

Key Skills:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a high end, active environment
Experience in fine jewelry and timepiece sales or similar sales experience a plus
Proven successful history of selling loose and mounted diamonds of all shapes, sizes and quality levels a plus
Gemological training a plus
Self-starter and team player and results driven
Passionate about professional growth
Superior communication skills with particular focus on clarity, honesty, and respect
Desire to continually exceed client expectations
Computer literacy necessary and proficient with technology
Outgoing and friendly personality a must

We sanitize all surfaces throughout the day and have masks and hand sanitizer readily available and our store is professionally cleaned weekly. We wear masks with our clients who prefer to wear one.
