Job description
Commercial Security Sales Manager will be responsible for increased sales of commercial security systems and other security related solutions by aggressively soliciting and generating leads. Specific responsibilities include:
- Provides current market information such as current trends, sales techniques, application of products in various markets, and suggested marketing programs to the Sales Director
- Responsible for the coordination and supervision of all sales representation.
- Train, develop, motivate and empower sales reps to effectively and efficiently oversee all day-to-day operations of the site and promote the highest standards of efficiency, profitability, customer service and ethics.
- Train subordinates on procedural guidelines, company policies, and operational & site specific forms.
- Active participation in the employee on-boarding process including new hire interviewing and selection of candidates that meet Protech required level of qualifications and skills, ensure hires receive appropriate training and licensure within the designated time frame.
- Promote positive employee relations through meeting and developing a rapport with all internal & external customers, addressing complaints, and resolving issues with regional management guidance.
- Strong ability to deliver revenue results
- Designing the technical response to RFPs/RFIs and be part of the strategy definition with the sales team
- Customer and management presentations
- Assist sales force and partners in closing business through on-site visits
- Support, enable and drive security business in the region
- Work with the sales team to strategize on sales approaches
- We will ask you to generate new and repeat sales, identify opportunities to up-sell our solutions and services by using the telephone, email or webcast
Security Sales Qualifications
- Proactively identify new sales leads and prospective clients
- Consistently attend networking events (e.g. local chamber events, industry events, etc.) to build contacts, sales leads, and prospective clients
- Establish relationships with existing clients to obtain referrals to develop into new sales leads and prospective clients
- Conduct site visits to inspect customers’ premises and recommend security solutions consistent with Company practices
- Design security solutions in accordance with client’s needs
- Prepare sales quote documents according to established Company procedure with accurate labor and parts estimates
- Assist technicians with job preparation and change orders, as necessary
- Follow-up on outstanding sales quotes
- Follow-up with customers to determine satisfaction with completed job
- Follow-up with non-payment issues, if necessary
- Offer exceptional customer service
- Attend sales meetings
- Develop and maintain expertise on products sold and including emerging technology and product offerings
- Meet or exceed sales quotas
* Please note this is a base plus commission position. This position would typically include and additional car and cell allowance on top of base commission.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
