We are currently looking for a dynamic Sales & Catering Manager that will be accountable for developing and fostering Corporate Groups business through pro-active direct sales, marketing, appointment calls and tours of the hotel. They would also assist in the developing of strategic action plans for the property to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue. Day To Day

The Sales & Catering Manager works in tandem with the Director of Sales & Catering and the Sales staff, Food & Beverage, and Culinary teams to create an unparalleled guest experience while ensuring a leading class experience for all guests and clients. The Sales & Catering Manager will possess exceptional accountability for planning, organizing, and directing all client services, food and beverage operations, and development processes as it pertains to their client while achieving optimal guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Must have completed High School or GED Diploma
  • 2-5 Years’ experience in hospitality, preferably in a five-star international hotel
  • 2-5 Years' experience in hospitality Sales & Marketing Department, preferably with main targeted industries: Entertainment, Fashion, Corporate, Financial, Pharmaceutical, Incentive houses, Meeting Planners, DMC, Tour Operators, BT Accounts

· Ability to use standard software applications and hotel systems including, Delphi, Opera, Social Tables etc.…

· Able to apply theory into practice and make improvement to the operations.

  • Must be organized, focused, and efficient under stress
  • Possess excellent communication skills (written and oral and ability to work well under pressure)
  • Skilled in using computers and software to keep track of costs, sales, inventory, etc.
  • Should have an excellent work ethic, proven experience in a Luxury Hotel environment, and an interest in people
  • Must be very organized with good time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Should be able to think creatively to solve situations that may arise within the Sales Department or other duties as assigned by management, must have good organizational skills and strong people skills
  • Must have excellent customer service skills, including the ability to interact with clients on a regular basis and needs quick thinking ability as well as a sunny disposition at all times despite what has happened previously.
