Quality Manufacturing Corporation, a fast-paced, metal fabrication company is looking to hire a 1stshift Robotic Welding Manager. This position manages the day to day issues of the robotic welding department while ensuring the company quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met.This person will work closely with department managers, lead workers, and employees.

Requirements:

• Effectively leads robotic welding area and collaborates with production employees, other production areas, quality personnel, and project managers to ensure we are meeting customer requirements
• Schedules parts to be manufactured and assigns employees to jobs that aligns with their skill set
• Trains and develops employees
• Possesses a technical understanding of the processes, prints, equipment, and technology in the area
• Interprets and applies manufacturing standards related to area
• Effectively communicates and represents QMC’s commitment to continual improvement
• Identifies staffing requirements based on capacity, evaluates employee performance, and sets goals for employees
• Reviews processes/procedures for completeness and effectiveness and recommends/implements changes as necessary
• Recommends and implements long term improvements in area of responsibility
• Ensures that employees follow all safety rules
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• 4-year degree in Engineering or related technical degree preferred
• 3 years prior experience in management preferred
• Previous experience in manufacturing industry required
• Good computer skills, familiar with basic programs
