Job Objective
The nursing supervisor is responsible for overseeing care of the residents using SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendations), maintaining adequate staffing levels, and responding to emergency situations on the PM and Night shifts.
FTE
Part-Time, 48hrs/bi-weekly, 10:30p-7am, E/O weekend & 2 days/wk
Job Standards
- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing.
- Current and unrestricted State RN license.
- Minimum of two (2) years' Nursing Supervisor experience where ability and sound principles in management are demonstrated.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in relating to residents, families, and health care members.
- Understanding of and ability to comply with federal and state rules and regulations as they apply to Nursing Homes.
- Current CPR certification.
- Utilizes the nursing process following "The Standard of Practice for Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses" as defined in the State of Wisconsin Administrative Code, Chapter N, Board of Nursing.
- Ability to safely perform all essential job functions without causing harm to self or others with or without reasonable accommodations.
