Glacier National Park sees over 3 million annual visitors and encompasses just over 1 million acres of largely wilderness area and is known for its seemingly endless acres of rugged and breathtaking landscapes. Glacier National Park was established in 1910 and stands today as a monument to wild natural places. As part of the Crown of the Continent ecosystem, the park includes 175 named mountains, 762 lakes (131 named lakes), 200+ named waterfalls and 26 named glaciers, as well as 1,000 plant species, and hundreds of animal species. Employees can explore the park’s 745 miles of hiking trails, take a bus tour on Going-to-the-Sun Road, or kayak in clear lakes.
The Details:
- Seasonal position starts early-June and extends through mid-September 2023
- Pay Rate: $13.25/hour
- Schedule Varies: Average 35-40 hours/week

- Assist customers in a courteous and knowledgeable manner, answering customers’ questions regarding location, price, and use of merchandise.
- Process payments in POS system.
- Keep the sales floor clean and well-stocked.
- Price & stock shelves with merchandise.
- Clean and replenish coffee stations (Campstore locations).
- Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
- Requires cash handling, basic math skills, and POS System knowledge/experience.
- At least one year of guest service experience, and working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 40 pounds.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of supplies, boxes, bags of ice, and bundles of wood. Some locations require frequent trips up & down stairs.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
- Working safely with required chemicals.
