POSITION PURPOSE
To provide professional customer service, in the restaurant and lounge area, in an efficient and courteous manner resulting in a high level of guest satisfaction and return business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
On the floor - Ensure quality service in the lounge and restaurant. Always
serving and greeting guest, in a kind and courteous manner. Knowledge of all
food and beverage menus, which will provide the server’s with the information
to up-sell the menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Responsible for placing
the order accurately (any special requests noted). Tables are turned in a timely
and professional manner with follow-up with guest(s) to provide quality
assurance.
Opening and closing – duties, Duties of side work, refer to sign-off sheets.
End of shift reports.
Hilton Training programs, Pre-Shift meeting, reviewing service manuals
value for the day, and knowledge of wine ingredients to up-sell.
Other:
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Hilton from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Hilton rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities. Employees who violate Hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

For Allgauer’s to be at it’s best, it is necessary for each of us to perform our job responsibilities to the best of our ability and in addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
- Help the dining room attendants in clearing and resetting the tables. When needed to help in a professional manner at the Hostess stand.
- Must be willing to support the other Food and Beverage departments whenever needed in the hotel.
- Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards.
