Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Develop and manage the business plan and budget for the restaurant.
- Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food, and drink necessary to operate the restaurant.
- Manages areas of responsibility to enhance the gaming experience of guests to Live! Casino & Hotel is becoming the number 1 gaming and entertainment venue in the Mid-Atlantic region.
- Development of staff to include training, interviewing for hires, conducts disciplinary counseling and performance evaluations.
- Review staffing levels to maintain a budgeted level of employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
- Review departmental status with Food and Beverage Director.
- Develop and manage programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
- Meets with directors and managers as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to:
- Analyze and interpret restaurant operational results.
- Solve complex problems.
- Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulations.
- Flexible work schedule.
- Accuracy in completing assigned duties under pressure and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Preferred, five (5) to seven (7) years experience in restaurant management and supervision.
- Preferred, a four (4)-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
- Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
- Alcohol Beverage Control card.
- Any applicable heath certificates.
Physical Requirements:
- Casino is over 100,000 square feet and requires the ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.
- Handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to:
- Stand and sit for long periods of time.
- Use hands and fingers to handle and feel; use hands and arms to reach, legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
- Regularly utilize sufficient vision or other powers of observation to review documents and computer screens and organize documents and materials.
- Use of stairs and elevators
