Halona Plaza is a family owned business proudly serving Zuni Pueblo and the surrounding area since 1910. Our restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week and we are famous for our fried chicken, red chili, and hamburgers.

Position Overview

Plans and directs the operations of the restaurant according to company policy and procedures. Manages all catering and day-to-day activities. Develops strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability. Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. Manages staff through effective hiring, scheduling, coaching, discipline, and termination. Reports to Store Manager or General Manager and assists in developing strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, manage labor costs, expand menu, and increase operating profit.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide high quality customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Direct day-to-day operations of the restaurant including seasonal promotions & catering activities
• Direct & supervise employees engaged in sales, cooking, inventory-taking, & ordering
• Hire, train, coach, schedule, evaluate, and terminate personnel when appropriate
• Follows and enforces company policy and procedures regarding operations, health and safety
• Orders, organizes, and audits inventory to reduce waste and adhere to company policy

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a managerial role in a restaurant and be familiar with industry standards and practices.
• Positive attitude / Solutions oriented
• Self-motivated / Thick-skinned
• Strong leadership skills and ability to foster a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate and develop rapport with customers and coworkers
• Requires a high school diploma
• Ability to maintain focus and prioritize work and get the job done whatever it takes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,500.00 - $45,000.00 per year
