Situated along the scenic Charles River and overlooking the Boston skyline, the recently renovated Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge is a welcoming hotel conveniently located near Cambridge’s Kendall Square, the city steps from some of the most prestigious universities such as MIT, Boston University and Harvard. The short 5-mile drive from Logan Airport makes travel fast and convenient. Our guests can spend the afternoon walking, running, or biking along the Charles River or work out using our Fitness Center. Our food & beverage offerings include in-room dining in guest rooms and suites with breathtaking views of the Charles River and the city of Boston or equally curated experiences in our seasonal patio or the dining room of our, soon to open, newly conceptualized restaurant and bar lounge.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING EVERY DAY-
Our Restaurant General Manager oversees our Paperback Tavern restaurant and will in oversight of other outlets. Hires, manages and assesses staff. Creates and reviews restaurant sales plans and develops and maintains budgets. Ensures compliance with all applicable laws.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably hotel
- Ability to interpret financial and operational data into operational plan
- Ability to lead and direct a team
- Time management skills
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members
- Ability to work extended hours when business necessitates
- Prior Serve Safe Certification preferred
- TIPS Certification preferred
- CPR Certification preferred
- Available to work both AM and PM shifts
