Entry-Level Position for a Career in Hospitality
Come on in because El Corral has the job for you. We are currently looking for help at our front desk. This is an entry-level position, so no experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know.
Our hosts work right at our front desk and help start the guest's visit out on a friendly note. This is a great position to learn the ropes in a historic restaurant. We will also cross-train you in other positions, so there is a ton of room for advancement if you want that. Compensation starts at $13.50 plus some tips and goes up depending on experience. Some of our top servers, bartenders, and cooks started at the front desk before exploring further.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a polite and welcoming manner upon their entering and exiting
- Answer phone as quickly as possible, answer all questions and provide appropriate services
- Manage the flow of guests into the dining room, balancing guest’s, service team’s, and kitchen team’s needs
- Provide accurate wait times if and maintain an accurate waitlist if appropriate
- Collect and provide guest feedback to Management Team
- Support service team, when needed in ensuring guests, have an enjoyable and memorable experience
- Personally guide guests around restaurant engaging in welcoming conversation when appropriate
- Receive take-out orders, facilitate proper preparation of ordered items, and process payments
Requirements:
- Minimal work experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 10 pounds.
