JOB SUMMARY:

General Manager (GM) overall responsibility is to create and maintain a ideal work culture centered around driving revenue through customer satisfaction. Lead an exciting customer and employee experience that drives overall store performance and sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to: (Other duties may be assigned as needed.) Staff: Development & Team Building

  • Work with Senior Management in Identifying, Recruiting, Hiring process, and Retention of top talent.
  • Aids in setting the standard of Team Performance.
  • Coordinate FOH and BOH to accomplish daily shifts.
  • Collaborates with assistant manager, shift leads, kitchen manager to set actionable goals for the staff to execute.
  • Sets the example and exudes leadership by demonstrating personal customer service, conflict resolution and selling skills.
  • Consistently building employee knowledge base by engaging in employee training, continuous education, and effective delegation of tasks.
  • Recognizes performance issues and communicates details to Store Manager to take corrective actions needed.
  • Partners with assistant manager, shift leads, kitchen manager on action plans based on staff responsibilities to exceed goals/plan set for the day.

Patrons/Customers:

  • Demonstrates and ensures that the concept deployed are delivered adequately and efficiently.
  • Communicates successes, opportunities and solutions to Operations Manager and ownership per customer/staff interactions.
  • Provides patrons with an adequate understanding of the concepts, menu items, and workability of technology to enhance patron experience and ultimately sales.
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
  • Drive employee engagement.
  • Maintains high level of personal integrity (e.g. adhering to Loss Prevention practices and policies, work published schedule, accurate timekeeping records, etc.) and expects the same of their team.

Product:

  • Understands and exhibits exceptional knowledge of the technologies, beers, ciders, wines and food items.
  • Communicates adequately with staff to complete the daily objectives of providing a high customer experience.
  • Knows popular items to be able to sell at a high level
  • Imparts product knowledge utilizing technology or menu provided.

Operations:

  • Maintains neat, clean, and organized store environment.
  • Meets or exceeds sanitary compliance standards set forth by state/city standards
  • Upholds staff to a clean, uniformed appearance for every shift.
  • Assist in searching and setting up events.
  • Work with event team on specific inquiries to provide communication and clarity to customers.
  • Work with Sales Manager and event's team for event execution and staffing for events.
  • Instill high standards of compliance and hold teams accountable.
  • Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
  • Promote the brand in the local community through social media and restaurant events
  • Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. marketing and social media ads)

MIN Hours Expected:

  • Pour Taproom ATL requires minimum 40 hours per week. Expectations are over 40 hours per week.
  • Time off will be based on advanced notice of at least two weeks and Operations manager approval.
