Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Rochester, NY

Salary: $2340 - $2700 Weekly. (Based of experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in Rochester, NY. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.

Responsibilities:

- Conducting thorough patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans

- Administering and monitoring respiratory treatments and medications

- Educating patients and families on proper respiratory care techniques and disease management strategies

- Conducting diagnostic testing such as pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and sleep studies

- Operating medical equipment such as ventilators, oxygen therapy devices and other respiratory equipment

- Documenting patient care and treatment in medical records

- Collaborating with physicians, nurses and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care

- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and staying current with industry developments and trends

Requirements:

- Valid Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the state of New York

- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in respiratory therapy

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must be able to work rotating shifts and be available for on-call duty as needed
