Duties
Daily Responsibilities
Assist Director and Teachers with daily activities as needed
- Assist with drop-off and pick-up procedures
- Provide support in classrooms as needed, especially during breaks
- Manage day-to-day operations of the kitchen/pantry
- Prepare daily snacks for children at the center while maintaining a list of allergies for children and alternative snacks for these children
- Warm-up lunches as needed (lunches are provided by the parents)
- Aide in delivering meals and snacks to classrooms in a timely manner according to schedules.
- Collect leftover food and dishes from classrooms after meals.
- Wash and sanitize all dishes as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and pantry areas.
- Ensure paper products, cleaning supplies, sanitization supplies, and other supplies needed in classrooms (gloves, diapers, etc.) are fully stocked
- Clean, disinfect, and sanitize the entire kitchen area as needed throughout the day.
- Dispose of trash daily and as needed.
- Be flexible with a positive and fun attitude
- Handle closing procedures (checking doors, sanitizing all high-touch surfaces, throwing garbage and boxes away, etc.)
Requirements
Desired Skills
- Proven experience in a licensed early childhood facility
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Is highly motivated and takes direction well with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Follows state childcare licensing rules and regulations
- Works productively without supervision within established organizational policies and procedures
Nice To Haves
- Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience in Early Childhood
- Certification in child CPR and First Aid Training
- Valid Child Care Las Vegas Sheriff's Card Preferred
