At Elite, the Residential Construction Assistant is a crucial part of our team and helps to make our projects possible from start to finish. This position also gives you the opportunity to learn/train how to be a construction manager if you have desires of growing in this field.

Responsibilities

• Assist Construction Manager in all aspects of the construction job from trench to move-in.
• Assist with the supervision of trade partners.
• Perform on-site inspections of the various trade partner’s work to ensure that the level of quality is being completed on time.
• Assist Construction Manager in maintaining records of change orders.
• Maintain daily log of job site occurrences.
• Assist Construction Manager as it relates to quality of workmanship.
• Assist in the maintenance of a clean job site for trade partners, take direction well; and able to use hand tools.
• Meet city inspectors on site as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Entry Level: 1-2 years of homebuilding experience
• Senior Level: 3+ years of homebuilding experience
• High school diploma or GED preferred OR equivalent work experience.
• Construction knowledge a must.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required.
• Valid driver’s license
• Follow directions from a supervisor.
• Accept constructive feedback.
• Team player with strong work ethic
• Be organized, honest and reliable.

Compensation: $40-55k annually pending experience
