RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a Residential Assistant with a passion for helping mental and behavioral health clients. We also part-time available, generally with 8 hour schedules totalling 16 or 24 hours per week. We also have a full-time schedule available Sunday-Thursday, 2:45pm-11pm (40 hrs/wk).

Shift differential is available for nights and weekends. Full training will be provided for you to provide social service assistance to individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent is required; experience in residential facilities and/or mental health and/or behavioral health is preferred. Must have a valid Tennessee driver's license and a safe driving record.

JOB DUTIES

This position is primarily responsible for the supervision and safety of all residents in a 10 bed group home for individuals with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness. Residential assistants offer daily training to each resident on Activities of Daily Living such as cooking, cleaning and hygiene, as well as distribute medications and ensure that the home is maintained in the manner required by licensure.
