Black Tie Ski Rentals of Aspen is currently seeking Reservations Agents for the 2022-23 ski & snowboard season. We are seeking proactive and energetic individuals who share our love of the mountains and possess an entrepreneurial spirit. Ideal candidates enjoy working in a great team atmosphere and are passionate about providing impeccable customer service to our guests.

Position Summary:

Reservations Agents are responsible for receiving and scheduling all reservations via phone, e-mail, or online system. They are the first point of contact between the guest and our business. Duties also include:

• Communicating and scheduling with guests, operations staff and management
• Coordinating daily operations tasks
• Replying to customer inquiries
• Processing office paperwork
• Assisting operations staff as needed

This is an office position that requires great attention to detail. Customer service and exceptional people skills are paramount. Ski & snowboard knowledge is helpful but not required. Other duties & skills include:

• You will be working in an environment where efficiency and attention to detail is important
• Computer experience is preferred (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Learn our custom reservation system, BTR
• Billing - charging/refunding credit cards
• Data entry and compilation
• Tour Operator monthly billing
• Keep daily operations and reservation paperwork organized
• General shop and office organization and cleanliness.

Details, Scheduling & Pay

• Start Date: Oct./Nov. 2022 (exact date flexible & can be discussed)
• End Date: Conclusion of ski area winter operations (April, 2023)
• Flexible scheduling is available but MUST be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Hourly wage starts at $22 per hour plus additional compensation like bi-weekly tip pool, monthly commissions/seasonal bonus structure, participation in ski pass program, industry pricing on gear & equipment, personal use of shop equipment, and family & friend discounts.
