Summary
As a clinical investigator on this high functioning team, you will lead all aspects of product claims development and substantiation. You will be involved from the early discovery (product and claims creation), through technical development and go to market product launch support. You will have a daily dose of excitement and challenge developing, optimizing, and substantiating product claims for global consumers in multiple markets. You will work closely with cross functional partners, such as Formulation, Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, Product Experience & Insights, Imaging, and Client Affiliates. Where 3rd party clinical studies or testing are needed, you will lead the protocol development, select the test site, manage the data and verify claims substantiation. In addition to managing external studies you will research, review, and summarize available scientific literature to assess viability of proposed claims, identify substantiation methods and document results. You will also publish, as appropriate, scientific papers to targeted journals or other media.

Required qualifications:
Minimum 1 – 3 years’ experience in research and clinical investigation in beauty, skin care, personal care or home care industry

Experience leading acquisition of new scientific knowledge through research, third party literature, and clinical studies, and translating and appropriately communicating findings.

BS or MS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, or related scientific discipline.

Ability to design clinical studies and interpret results

Experience working with global project teams

Effectively communicating and presenting technical complex data (both verbally and written) to influence all levels and global audiences

Identifying and anticipating problems, reviewing related information, developing and evaluating options, making decisions and implementing solutions

Demonstrated business acumen and understanding impact of actions and decisions on the business
