A CAD Tech Data Drafter/Architect is needed. The Tech Data Drafter is in charge of precisely analyzing architectural files for all company departments, building and maintaining the house plan database, and using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create matrix projects. To make sure each project is properly written and contains the necessary information, you will check field notes and builder guidelines.
Requirements
graduate from high school or an equivalent.
a college or technical school certificate valid for one year in architectural or civil drafting.
certification from a CAD program with accreditation.
1+ years of experience as a Cad.
1+ year of architectural drafting experience
proactive communication abilities, including those for voice, video, chat, and email as well as in person. combined with a passion for engineering, design, and analysis. Basic math skills.
Strong devotion to job quality and attention to detail.
Engineering-related academic training is preferred.
having knowledge of creating layouts for land surveys.
Responsibilities
uses computer-aided drawing (CAD) software to create exhibitions, matrix projects, and footprints that are precisely scaled for all company divisions.
Examines and translates architectural information from builders in order to develop, update, and analyze footprints for use on plot plans.
updates and fixes issues with the database of firm housing plans.
all firm departments' queries or worries regarding housing information are addressed.
When comparing forms to plot plans, correctly identifies housing concerns and clearly communicates remedies to other departments and the builder.
For all company departments, examines aerial easements for encroachment.
produces matrix books with footprint transparency and blank lot drawings for builders.
evaluates and orders urgent tasks as they come up.
meets daily production targets set by the administration of the drafting department.
communicates with senior team members and department assistant managers to resolve any issues, disagreements, or issues pertaining to work.
Follows all rules and regulations to enhance operations and the caliber of the surveys that are produced.
