PDQ Staffing is seeking great candidates for a Regulatory Labeling Specialist for our Health and Beauty client located in the Garland Texas area. The ideal candidate will need strong administrative and Customer Service skills and be proficient in Microsoft Excel including creating spreadsheets and ability to effectively/efficiently move around in the Excel environment. This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate as the company is willing to train, as long as the minimal requirements above are met.Hours: 8am-430pm
Pay: 19.50 p/h

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The position provides support for product labeling which includes both new and existing products and prepares foreign registration documents and ensures timely responses to department projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

1. Update and maintain both electronic PDF files and paper artwork files.
2. Initiate and review changes to product labels, cartons, shippers etc. for both domestic and International and ensure regulatory compliance is met.
3. Review final proofs, color charts, bottle samples with new artwork, etc. for suppliers and give to Regulatory Labeling Manager for final approval.
4. Provide technical support for customer service group (i.e., format label in a pdf, pull physical labels for customer service group to give to foreign country).
5. Assist with Ensure Electronic Upload for the department relating to art changes, SOP’s etc.
6. Work with suppliers to obtain costing information, quantities on hand, phase-out, phase-in dates, etc. Complete Change Controls and action plans as required.
7. Assist with Controls and as required.
8. Timely update technical documents (formulas, manufacturing processes, etc.) as needed for foreign country registration.
9. Assist Director of Regulatory Affairs with various regulatory and technical projects by contacting, following up with suppliers regarding regulatory and technical needs, and ensuring that requested information is received.
10. Ensure registration documents are available for customer support.
11. Assist Director of Regulatory Affairs with trademark filing and file maintenance.
12. Timely update technical documents (formulas, compounding procedures, etc.) as needed for foreign country registration.
13. Assist the Director of Regulatory Affairs with projects that relate to regulatory compliance.
14. Work within applicable regulatory guidelines (such as applicable cGMPs, environmental regulations, and health and safety regulations) to ensure compliance with those guidelines.
