Job Summary: Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients' condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care. Monitors patients' progress and records pertinent observations. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
Hours: Full-time (0.9 FTE) NIGHTS 7pm-7:30am; Includes weekend and holiday rotations
Required:
- Illinois Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (BLS Provider or BLS Instructor)
- Minimum one year RN experience in a hospital setting
- Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing within 5 years of a hire date
- Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within three months of start date into position
- PICU RN experience
