Third Coast Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery- Nursing Position

Our practice is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to add to our team. We strive to provide high quality patient care in a fast paced and efficent manner. The practice environment is similar to an outpatient surgery center. Commensurate with this, our clinical staff are mainly registered nurses. Unlike many registered nurse positions, NO on-call, NO weekends, NO nights, NO holidays. Outpatient care during business hours only.

Primary responsibilities:
-Responsible for maintaining a neat, organized, and well-documented clinical department.
-Assisting during surgery and sedation procedures: starting IVs, monitoring sedated patients.
-Maintaining patient flow throughout the day.

Personal Requirements:
Education/Experience

• Nursing degree (RN)
• Outpatient surgery experience ideal, but not a prerequisite
• Computer skills; Experience with electronic medical records

Hours:

• Full-Time 40 hours per week. Monday – Thursday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; Friday 7:30 to 1pm.
