Under the general direction of the Director of Clinical Services a Registered Nurse(RN) serves to ensure development and compliance of the home health rehabilitation program and the development of family and patient relationship with the agency.
Job Duties Include:
- Care for patients in their homes
- Day-to-Day interaction with patients
- Update and revise patient health care plans as needed
- Educate patients and families about health care plans and options
- Make clinical decisions for routine patient care
- Accurately document and submit medical records
- Demonstrate knowledge in medical care; such as diagnostic procedures, medication, symptoms, and other treatment-related therapies
- Wound Care and Medication Management
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Implement physician orders and other nursing procedures
- Create an environment for open communication
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed in Missouri and Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- One or more years of experience in community/home health agency or in a hospital setting is preferred.
