At Blue Iris Behavioral Services, our ABA team includes Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Licensed Lead Analysts, and Registered Behavior Technicians who work together to develop the best individualized and personalized treatment for our clients. We provide interactive ABA therapy at home and in educational centers, all throughout Brevard County.

We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for providing in-person behavior intervention services at home or school setting, following BCBA assessments and individualized treatment plan (ITP). You'll provide guidance and support to parents to create a learning environment that promotes child development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person behavior intervention services at home or school
• Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding client's care
• Collect and record data
• Follow Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelines and codes of conduct
• Attend weekly supervision sessions with BCBA
• Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals.
• Communicate clearly and effectively – both orally and written – with clients, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 6 months experience in ABA and / or working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disorders / delays.
• RBT certification (current)
• Brevard Public Schools Contractor Badge (Preferred)
• Pass a criminal background check
• Maintain CPR certification (every 2 years)
• Maintain HIPAA compliance training (annual)

• Ability to build rapport with clients and family members.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong documentation skill
• Have a reliable means of transportation, a valid driver's license, and insurance.
• Be sensitive to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population of children.
