Regional Purchasing Agent- Eastern Region

Lignetics, Inc., located in Louisville, CO, is a $135M wood product manufacturing business with 21 manufacturing locations across the US stretching from Oregon to Maine. The business has rapidly expanded in the last 24 months through multiple acquisitions. The growth strategy includes continued bolt-on acquisitions in a “roll-up” of the industry as well as organic growth through enhanced strategic customer relationships and product diversification. The business is profitable and currently building out the corporate platform to allow for the aggressive growth plans. A likely IPO in the future will be another catalyst for growth. The company plans to more than double in size in the next 3-5 years.

Lignetics is developing a portfolio of consumer brands in several different categories including wood pellets for home heating, BBQ pellets for grilling, wood pellets and shavings for animal bedding, and a wood fiber-based cat litter. Each of our products have unique features and benefits but are all linked with a wonderful recycled, renewable, sustainable, and carbon neutral story. We turn recycled saw dust into value-add, branded consumer products.

Regional Purchasing Agent - Responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing activity within the Eastern United State region.
• Lead select national purchasing projects.
• Assist National Purchasing Manager with contract negotiations and data analysis.
• Generate and report purchasing key performance indicators.
• Manage purchase req, purchase order general ledger accounting and order tracking for East Region.
• New vendor sourcing.
• Contract service vetting.
• Build and maintain efficient cost tracking data bases.

Regional Purchasing Agent - Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or 7 years relevant purchasing experience.
• Proficiency in ERP Systems, and Microsoft Excel required.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organization and documentation skills.
