Regional Property Manager (Washington DC)
The Regional Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of a portfolio of (HUD and LIHTC) communities. As a Regional Property Manager, you will manage all phases of the operations, including personnel, customer experience, marketing, leasing, maintenance, rehab supervision & owner representation, financial planning and management, administration & risk management, pre-development consulting, new business development, and due diligence. As an offsite leader, you will supervise all aspects of the property and staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Effective data collection, validation, and auditing skills.
- Analytical skills to run financial models, shop properties, assist in market research as well as analyze all aspects of the local real estate markets.
- Strong Analytical & Financial Reporting background utilizing Business Intelligence tools
- Assist in the development of the annual operating budgets
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills with the ability to present reports and communicate technical or numerate data in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and think proactively and strategically.
- Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Property Management Systems
- Capability to work within a team and work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment.
- The position requires the ability to communicate effectively in English and perform advanced business mathematical functions.
- The position requires dealing well with people and exhibiting strong leadership skills. Evidence of leadership qualities must be shown within the region, the company, and the industry.
- Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
- Must be able to travel within multiple states.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or five years experience in the multifamily housing industry at the community manager level.
- A certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) is preferred.
- Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, OSHA requirements, and EEOC.
- Routine local travel is required to attend training classes, client visits, site visits, or other situations necessary to accomplish some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position. Overnight travel is usually required.
- Must have LIHTC experience.
- Yardi a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $81,785.00 - $135,000.00 per year
